A symposium organized by Institut Culturel de Bretagne, the Celtic BLM Laboratory at Rennes II University ( Brittany and Minority Languages University degree) and the Lorient Interceltic Festival, , as opening of its 52nd session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suite \u00e0 l’exposition Celtique ?<\/em> qui s’est tenue au Mus\u00e9e de Bretagne \u00e0 Rennes en 2022, et qui avait suscit\u00e9 de nombreuses pol\u00e9miques quant \u00e0 l’orientation de son propos, les organisateurs du colloque Bretagne… celtique !<\/strong><\/em> ont souhait\u00e9 prolonger le d\u00e9bat pour que s’expriment divers avis sur la question.

Le colloque Bretagne… celtique !<\/em><\/strong> donne la parole \u00e0 des sp\u00e9cialistes de diff\u00e9rents horizons qui, comme le fait remarquer Herv\u00e9 Le Bihan – directeur du labo Celtic BLM de Rennes II – estiment que \u00a0\u00bb le point d’interrogation dans le titre de l’exposition fermait le propos en impliquant une r\u00e9ponse n\u00e9gative \u00a0\u00bb et pensent qu’il faut aller plus loin dans la r\u00e9flexion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c9voquant le monde celte depuis ses origines antiques jusqu’\u00e0 la construction de l’id\u00e9e des relations interceltiques telle que les nations celtes la vivent depuis 150 ans, le colloque Bretagne… celtique ! <\/strong><\/em>approfondira aussi les questions d’identit\u00e9 bretonne et d’identit\u00e9 celtique li\u00e9es \u00e0 nos langues et leur usage aujourd’hui, pour offrir un panorama aussi large que possible sur la question. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the Bretagne Celtique ?<\/strong> exhibition held in 2022 at the Mus\u00e9e de Bretagne in Rennes, which sparked off a number of controversies about the viewpoint of the exhibition, the organizers of Bretagne… Celtique !<\/em> <\/strong> wanted to prolong the discussion to allow a variety of opinions to be expressed on the topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The symposium Bretagne\u2026 Celtique !<\/strong> <\/em> will provide perspectives from different horizons, of which, Herv\u00e9 Le Bihan\u2019s – Director of the Celtic BLM Lab at Rennes II university- who points out that \u00ab\u00a0the question mark in the title of the exhibition was clowing the subject by implying a negative response\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> ; and think that the discussion deserves further reflexion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evoking the Celtic world, from its ancient origins until the build of inter-Celtic relations as experienced by the Celtic nations over the past 150 years, the Bretagne… Celtique !<\/strong> <\/em>symposium will also address the questions of Breton and Celtic identities in relation to our Celtic languages and their use nowadays, to offer as broad a panorama as possible on the issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
