. Barry Cunliffe is a world-renouned British archaeologist and academic. Professor of European Archaeology at Oxford University from 1972 to 2007, he has been Emeritus Professor since 2007. Over the last decades, he developed the theory of the ‘Celtic from the West’, combining archaeology, linguistic and genetic studies, whereby Celtic culture may have actually developed along the Atlantic façade during the Bronze Age, to then move inland, whilst general opinion used to relate Celtic origins with the Hallstatt culture of the Alps and central Europe.

Fabien Régnier : Former student of Venceslas Kruta and Paul-Marie Duval, took part to a series archaeological excavations of La Tène sites before devoting himself to associative work, encouraging wider access and knowledge on the Celtic cultural heritage. He manages the magazine Keltia, also dedicated to Celtic cultures, and organizes conferences on the topic.

Titulaire de deux doctorats, d’anglais (Université de Bretagne occidentale) et d’histoire ancienne (Université de Paris-IV Sorbonne), il a participé à de nombreuses fouilles dans l’Ouest de la Bretagne et publié plus de sept cents articles et ouvrages, dont la correspondance entre G.-B. Shaw et Augustin Hamon, son traducteur français. Ancien président de la Société d’étude de Brest et du Léon (1995-2012) et de la Société archéologique du Finistère (2005-2017), il fait partie du Centre de recherche bretonne et celtique (UBO), du comité de rédaction d’Études celtiques (CNRS) et de la Société d’histoire et d’archéologie de Bretagne, est fellow de la Society of Antiquaries of London et officier des Palmes académiques.
